Privacy Policy
Across Minds is a reading site. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies.
What is collected
Each post shows how many times it has been viewed and liked. These counts are anonymous totals: no name, address or other detail is stored with them. So that a reload is not counted twice, your browser keeps a small note (in its local storage, on your device only) of the posts you viewed or liked.
If you sign up under “Stay in the know”, we store the email address you enter and whether you ticked the newsletter box, and use them only to send you new essays. Write to us and we will delete your address.
Like any web server, the server that hosts this site keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to identify readers and are not shared or sold.
The page fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts are fetched. Links to Spotify, Unsplash and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
